Extension in Drumcondra


The client brief was to design a three storey extension that was able to maximize the space and light whilst being respectful of the neighbours. The non symmetrical eves of the roof allow for the height of the third floor to meet Regulations while providing more light for the neighbours and bridging the
towering height of an adjacent pre-63 building. The flat roof of the kitchen is gently pitched in order to have a bigger sliding door towards the garden hence bringing in more light.
